PPT on “Tempest”

The department of English, SAC College Nagamangala,conducted a Power Point Presentation, Date: 02-03-2018 Friday, 2.00 to 3.00, a PPT was presented for IV Sem B. A student on “Tempest” a play written by William Shakespeare, in order to give extra information on various issues raised in the play: colonialism, Power hungry people, Marriage, Servant V/S Master relationships, it was presented in the Seminar Hall and an introduction to Shakespearean play was also done. 

Assistant Prof. Sunil Kumar M. P began his PPT, with a short introduction to Shakespeare, and his plays.Next, he dealt on the technical aspects of the play. An exposure to Shakespearean’s Plays were given to them and he talked about the unities of time, action and place in the play. The significance of the Five acts in his Plays was discussed .The Themes in the play was discussed with the students , in a way to make teaching method more effective, and to remain in the minds of students, a new methods were implemented in the PPT. Students got a good exposure to the Structure of the play. Post colonialtheory onthe tempest was discussed. Major characters were discussed, various other issues in the play was discussed with the students. Various pictures were shown to the students in order to make PPT more attractive along with the dialogue in the Play. 

Annotation part was also dealt in this PPT presentation; the students were enlightened in this PPT session.

The Department of English, SAC College Nagamangala, conducted a Power Point Presentation, Date: 23-02-2018 Friday, 10.00 to 11.30, a PPT was presented for IV B.Com students on “Report Writing” in order to give extra information on what is meant by Report Writing. It was presented in the Seminar Hall. 

Assistant Prof. Sunil Kumar M P began his PPT, with a short introduction to Report Writing, .Next,he dealt on: what is meant by Reports? Types, Formats, Structure and Relevance. 

An exposure to Report Writing was given to them and he talked about the importance of Report Writing. The significance of theReport in the modern world was discussed. Various pictures were shown to the students in order to make PPT more attractive.

Active participants of the students took place, their doubts were cleared.
